CLINIC FEES AND POLICIES

MISSED APPOINTMENT

IN-CLINIC OR TELEMEDICINE VISIT: If you miss a confirmed in-clinic, video or telephone appointment with our office and do not notify us to cancel, you will receive an invoice for a no-show fee ($50 + GST). This fee is expected to be paid before scheduling another appointment. This no-show fee may be waived if there are extenuating circumstances.

LATE APPOINTMENT

If you are greater than 10 minutes late for your appointment, we may need to reschedule your appointment to another day. This is to ensure prompt service for patients who arrive on-time.

MSP COVERAGE

Most urological procedures and services are covered under the Medical Services Plan (MSP) of British Columbia. Patients not covered under MSP are expected to cover the cost out-of-pocket or through their private insurance company.

UNINSURED SERVICES

Uninsured services not covered under MSP are the responsibility of the patient and/or primary caregiver(s). These include:

  • Insurance forms

  • Notes for employer or school
